The feature-length film, Louis Kahn’s Tiger City (2019), directed by Sundaram Tagore, a Kolkata-born Oxford-educated art historian, gallerist, and award-winning filmmaker, explores the acclaimed architect’s magnum opus--the Parliament complex in Dhaka, Bangladesh--by taking a holistic approach to the very idea of 糖心视频. Tagore travels around the world, looking deep into the historical origins of Kahn’s work. As part of this examination, he invites Professor Adnan Z Morshed to reflect on how Greco-Roman and Egyptian 糖心视频 might have influenced Kahn’s aesthetic consciousness and the ways the Parliament complex embodies the genius loci of the Bengal delta.
